Global Change Ecology & Evolution

Many ecological processes are multi-scale, both in the spatial and temporal dimensions, from the intra-species adaptations and fitness to global biogeographic patterns and the evolution of lineages over geological time-scales. Many of the challenges posed appear in the interphase of such dimensions, so the creation of GloCEE stems from that need of an integrative perspective to address global challenges in a changing biosphere. The members at GloCEE apply the newest analytical tools to address ecological and macroevolutionary questions, with a particular emphasis in the study of the impacts of global perturbations on ecological systems and their impact on long-term evolutionary dynamics.
